About Me

My Cybersecurity Journey

I’m a cybersecurity student at Lackawanna College (2025–2027) with a strong focus on threat analysis, system troubleshooting, and Python automation. I’ve maintained a 3.9 GPA, earned President’s List honors each semester, and was invited to join the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

My interest in technology started early. I was the go‑to person for fixing computers, removing malware, and solving network issues. That curiosity has grown into a passion for understanding how systems break, how attackers think, and how to build more secure environments.

My coursework and hands‑on labs are preparing me for the CompTIA A+ and Security+ certifications, which I plan to complete before graduating. I’ve also strengthened my communication and social‑engineering awareness through classes in effective speaking, business communication, and sociology.

I enjoy tackling complex technical problems, building practical tools, and continuously expanding my skills. Whether it’s analyzing threats, automating tasks with Python, or troubleshooting systems, I’m always ready for the next challenge.

What Drives Me

Cybersecurity matters to me because it's about protection and keeping organizations, their data, and ultimately the people behind that data safe. Every vulnerability fixed, every threat detected, and every process optimized makes a real difference. I'm motivated by the challenge of complex problems and the satisfaction of building tools that make security teams more effective.

My Stance on AI

In my view, AI has immense potential to improve cybersecurity by automating threat detection, examining large datasets at scale, and speeding up response times. At the same time, it introduces new risks, ethical dilemmas, and responsibilities. I support accountable AI use that augments human expertise rather than replacing it, and I believe AI systems should operate with transparency and accountability.

I use AI as a tool to research, plan, and draft reports, technical documents, and blog posts. However, I am an enthusiastic writer, and the finished product is always my own. AI may help refine my work or optimize it for clarity and SEO, but the creativity, intuition, and voice come from myself. I have the same attitude when it comes to coding: AI can generate code near-instantly, but it cannot replicate the heart, artistry, or instinct that make human created content expressive. That human element is what people connect with.
